General Secretariat

The General Secretary is the public official who cooperates directly with the Minister to coordinate the administrative function of the sector.

The General Secretariat, whose head is the General Secretary, at the level of a Vice Minister, cooperates directly with the Minister coordinating the administrative function of the sector. He manages and controls public relations, as well as the communication between the ministry and the public, in order to gain their understanding and support.

Functions of the General Secretariat:

• Cooperating with the Minister in functions related to the administration of the Finance and Economy Sector.
• Responsible for the Technical Secretariat of the Advisory Commission.
• Coordinating and providing the Commissions of the Congress, or their representatives, with information requested.
• Processing documents directed to top management, and establishing the corresponding proceedings.
• Coordinating with external advisors the matters related to the Ministry's Office.
